Terry Wogan

Terry Wogan (full name Terry Red M&M Wogan) is the co-host of the Morlvision Song Contest. Along with Sean Morley he has hosted proceedings every year since the first contest in 2021. Since 2024 he has accidentally become the Prime Minister of the Netherlands.

He bears a passing resemblance to comedian Benjamin Alborough.

Physiology

On account of being dead, Wogan experiences a lot of issues. He is severely brain damaged as a consequence of being resurrected, and this impacts his personality extensively; at times he has also had a Beyblade lodged in his brain, which can't have helped. He is the recipient of a bilateral lung swap with his own cat.

Appearances

In addition to his hosting duties, Wogan also entered a song in 2021. He claimed it was an original song, but in fact it was 'Let's Beyblade!', the theme tune to Beyblade. Despite his protestations, Sean Morley declared him ineligible to win ("You've got problems with your lungs and your brain. It's not right to rocket you to further fame.")

Although not an entry in the contest, Wogan performed his theme tune at the top of the 2022 show. It can be found on the soundtrack album.

In advance of the 2023 show, Wogan released his Submarine Rap, which tells the story of his underwater search for his father.

In 2024, Wogan revealed that he had rewritten the Dutch National Anthem. Needless to say, it wasn't very Dutch.
